PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ EVERYTHING BELOW, ONCE YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE POLICIES/TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Thank you in advance.

Making Appointments:

To make an appointment you must email me, or message me, on my BUSINESS social media pages. When we have discussed what you’re looking to have done, at that time I will send you a scheduling link too book your appointment online through Vagaro. I will not accept appointments if you haven’t messaged me to discuss what you want. Once I have sent the link to you, it is YOUR responsibility to claim the agreed upon slot. If you don’t schedule through this link, you will lose your appointment slot, as this is the only calendar that is used to track all appointments. If you haven’t received a reminder from Vagaro this may mean you didn’t do the required steps. If you show up to the shop and you did not do the required steps, I am not responsible for any time lost at work or for any other cost related arrangements you made to be there. I am also not required to follow up with you to see if you still want the slot.

Age Requirement:

You must be 18 years old and have proper identification, or 16 with parental consent. You must bring state or federal photo ID every time you come in for any tattoo. If you arrive for a tattoo appointment without proper ID, you will not get tattooed and you will unfortunately lose your deposit. Acceptable forms of ID include driver’s license, state issued non-driver ID card, military ID or passport.

If you are under the age of 18, your parent MUST come with you to every appointment that is scheduled, even if I have already tattooed you.

Walk-ins:

My studio is by appointment ONLY. Sometimes I have cancellations though, and when that happens, I will post on Instagram or my business FB page.

Inquiries:

I am grateful to receive an overwhelming number of inquiries about tattoo projects, I am happy to accept every inquiry. However, you must be patient with my busy schedule. At the moment, I am booked up 3-4 months in advance. This may also cause a delay in responses on my end. It can take up to 2-5 business days, or more with holidays, for me to respond.

Price/Budget:

The shop minimum for black and gray pieces is $100 and $125 for color. For larger and/or multiple session projects, there is an hourly appointment rate (not machine time). If you have a strict budget, please let me know. However, a strict budget will affect the overall size, and detail of your tattoo. Keep in mind, we can space out sessions for large pieces to give you time to save in between each session.

If you are Pregnant or Breastfeeding:

I will not tattoo you if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding for numerous reasons. The tattooing process is traumatic for your body and especially for a developing embryo, or fetus. Your body is growing a human being and doesn’t need the additional stress of the tattooing process. The risks, although rare, are not worth it at any point during your pregnancy or breastfeeding journey.

Children/Guest Policy:

Tattoo studios are not a place for children due to safety hazards and distractions. Please arrange for childcare before you come to the studio for any reason. Also, NO guests are allowed in the shop with you as this takes away from our ability to connect with you and give you the proper attention needed to complete the tattoo process. You must have permission to bring a guest or they will be asked to leave.

Payment methods:

I can accept these forms of payments: cash, check, card and Venmo. You will need a credit card on file on Vagaro, but that card will not be charged unless of a last-minute cancellation, no show, or if you give me permission to charge it AFTER the service is completed.

Appointment & Deposit policy:

As mentioned above; to secure the appointment time and date offered to you, you MUST book through Vagaro and enter credit card information. This is not optional. You will be CHARGED 50% of your appointment slot if you no show, are more than 30 minutes late, or if you cancel within the 48-hour window before your appointment. Emergencies happen, but they need to be a TRUE emergency to avoid being charged. I charge 50% to cover lost wages, drawing time, and time that may have gone to another client in the event of you cancelling, or no showing. I will not allow my time to be disrespected, as I do not disrespect your time during any part of the process. Your satisfaction and time are my top priority and I deserve the same in return. All deposits, no show/cancellation charges, and payments of any kind are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you have multiple sessions scheduled for the same piece, you must pay after each appointment session. Additionally, if you choose to go with a different design than what was discussed at the time of booking, you will be charge a drawing fee of $125 at the end of the session on top of what’s owed for the tattoo itself.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, you will not be charged the 50% as long as you give me 48 hours’ notice. If you do not give me the required notice, you will be charged 50% of the servicing cost. For example, if you have a 4-hour B & G tattoo slot scheduled, that is a $500 slot, so you will be charged $250 to the card on file. This charge is NON-REFUNDABLE. Exclusions apply, such as, illness, family emergencies, car/transportation issues, or weather/driving conditions. I am completely understanding of the fact life happens, just be honest with me and communicate. I’d like to add that financial crisis is NOT an exclusion to this policy because you should know whether you can afford your tattoo within 48 hours of your scheduled slot. Also, if you have been sick at all near the 48-hour window PLEASE RESCHEDULE!! I don’t have time to get sick and your body needs time to recover. You do not have to give me a reason for cancellation/rescheduling if you let me know before the 48-hour window has begun. If you request to reschedule a third time for the same tattoo regardless notice given, you will be required to pay a deposit equal to the total remaining balance of your tattoo, so you are paid in full upon scheduling. I can also decide at my discretion, to discontinue working on your project altogether.
No call/no shows will NOT be rescheduled, and you will be charge 50% of the service.

Touch-ups:

You get a ONE-hour free touch up at any time on a tattoo that I’ve done, unless it is messed up due to your neglect. Additionally, if you cancel, request to reschedule, or no show your touch up appointment, you no longer get a free touch up on that piece as I have just lost out on an hour of paid time. You will be required to pay the hourly rate for additional touch ups. Also, any changes to the original design are not considered touch ups and you will be charged accordingly.

By scheduling an appointment with me through the app or by making a deposit of any kind, you are agreeing to these terms which are legally binding and enforceable.

Reschedules on my end:

The same exclusions that apply to you, apply to me. If I am sick, have transportation issues, family emergencies, weather etc. I will let you know and do my absolute best to get you in ASAP even if I must come in earlier or stay later. I’d like to mention as well that I live on a gravel road that is not maintained very well during the winter. I have been snowed in for up to two weeks before due to snow and winds causing large drifts across my road. This can be frustrating for us both as you aren’t getting your service, and I am not making any money while at home. Rest assured I will do whatever I can to get to the shop, but this is unfortunately something I can’t control. I do get reports on the road conditions prior to making the decision to reschedule for weather and just know I understand that a tattoo isn’t worth putting our safety at risk.

Arriving Late:

Please be sure to arrive for your appointment on time. Since appointments are booked back-to-back, arriving late disrupts the entire schedule for the day. It cuts into the next clients time and/or does not allow me enough time to finish your tattoo. Clients who are more than 29 minutes late will be considered a last minute cancellation/no show and will be charged 50% of the service. Remember to plan for traffic, bad driving conditions, construction, etc.

Arriving Early:

Please do NOT show up to your appointment more than 5 minutes early, I will have you do paperwork during those 5 minutes. We do not need to start earlier than that for any reason, unless discussed 48 hours before the appointment. If you come into the building too early you will have to wait until 5 til for us to get started. This is my time to draw, or get things lined up for the day.

Refusal of services:

I do not discriminate, but I do have the right to refuse service to anyone within reason. If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, being disrespectful, are pregnant, have numbing cream on when you come in, have excessively drank the night before, have cuts or poor skin conditions, have a medical condition that hinders the process, etc. you will be asked to leave, and I will charge 50% of the service.

Artwork:

Your drawing will be ready for you to see on the day of your appointment. I am more than happy to make simple alterations to the design during your scheduled appointment time. If you have changed your mind about the subject matter or want drastic changes that were not communicated in your initial appointment request, this will count as an entirely new design and will require another deposit as well as a new appointment.

Since I am typically booked 3 to 4 months in advance that means that I have 3 to 4 months’ worth of drawings to complete before I can get to yours. This doesn’t mean that your drawing, or tattoo is any less important, I love all of my clients and always strive to make your ideas become reality, but I have to work on a first come first served basis.

Cover Ups:

When submitting ideas for a cover up please include a photo of your existing tattoo you would like to cover. If your tattoo is very faded there is a good chance it can be easily covered. Please be aware that there are limitations with coverup work and you will need to keep an open mind through the process. You also may need multiple sessions to get the tattoo covered, payment is required for each session.

I will finish, add to, or fix a tattoo that was started somewhere else. However, this also may come with limitations though, just like coverups.

Multiple Sessions:

Large scale, multiple session tattoos, take commitment by both the artist and the client. I recommend that those multiple appointments are scheduled at the time of the initial booking so that we can complete your project in a timely manner. Please be sure you are prepared to follow through before making this commitment.
